Chromatomyia gentianae Hd.
Diptera: Agromyzidae

Two or three generations a year (VII-IX.). Hosts are Gentiana and Centaurium species. The mine begins as spot on the upper side, later branching irregularly forming a star shape. The faeces are deposited in a pearl row like formation. Occurs in most of Europe.
