Antispila treitschkeela Fisch. von Rössl. Bivoltine (VI-VII. and IX-X.). Host is Cornus mas. The mine is an irregular blotch, the faeces is deposited in larger lumps. The larva pupates at the margin of the mine. The cocoon falls out from the leaf, leaving a small oval hole. The mine is very similar the mine of two related species (A. pfeifferella és A. petryi), but these ones live on C. sanquinea. Central and South European species, common in Hungary. |
