Liriomyza taraxaci Hering
Diptera: Agromyzidae

Bivoltine (IV-V. and VII-VIII.). Hosts are Taraxacum and Leontodon. The mine is an irregular fasten widening tunnel on the upper surface of the leaf. The larva pupates within the mine. Occurs in Europe, common in Hungary.
