Multivoltine (V-VIII). Hosts are Polygonatum, Convallaria, Maianthenum. The mines of two related species (P. medium and P. vittatum) can hardly be distinguished. The mines are large blotches on the upper side, the faeces are deposited in cloud like formation. European species, occurring in Hungary.
