Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae

Bivoltine, flies in April-May and August. Host is Corylus. The young larva mines on the underside, causing brown discolouration on the leaf. Later fold the leaf-margin and feeds in it. One caterpillar regularly makes at least two folds. Occurs in Europe, Common in Hungary.
