Phyllocnistis suffusella Zeller
Lepidoptera: Phyllocnistidae

Bivoltine (V-IX.), host is Populus nigra, and its hybrids. The larva mines slightly under the epidermis. The mine is a silvery white long serpentine, often following the leaf margin. No faeces can be seen in the mine. European species, widespread and common in Hungary.
