Phyllonorycter leucographella (Zeller)
Lepidoptera: Lithocolletidae

Two or three generations per year. Hosts are Pyrracntha and occasionally Crataegus. The larva makes an elongated blotch mine on the midrib of the upper surface. South European species probably reached Western Europe and Hungary too with human assistance. In Hungary it was first recorded at the Western border in 1992.
