Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae

Bivoltine. Host is Celtis. Makes tent-like mines in vein forks on the underside of the leaves. Faeces can be found in the whole mine. Larva pupates within the mine. Usually many (5-9) mines can be found on one leaf. Occurs in South Europe and in Asia Minor. Not yet recorded from Hungary.
