Phyllonorycter oxyacanthae Frey
Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae

Bivoltine (V-VI. and VIII.). Hosts are Crataegus, Cydonia, Prunus and Sorbus. The larva makes a blotch mine on the underside, usually reaching the leaf margin. The mine pulls together the leaf. 4-5 strong wrinkles can be seen on the mine. European species, occurring at many places in Hungary.
