Phytomyza lappina Goureau
Diptera: Agromyzidae

Host is Arctium. The larvae make narrow serpentine mines near the veins. The mine is up to 15 cm in length and 2 mm in width. Life history is hardly known, the literature mentions 5-10, or even more generations per year. Widespread in Europe.
