Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae

Univoltine (V-VII.). Larvae on upper surface of the leaves of Quercus robur and Q. petraea. The irregular, elongated blotch mines begin in the vein forks. Usually more than one mine can be found on one leaf. The faeces is scattered in the mine. Occurs in most of Europe, common in Hungary.
