Wingspan is 4-4.5 mm. Bivoltine in Hungary, but can have 3 generation in South Europe. The caterpillar is dark green, makes serpentine mine on Cotinus. The faeces fills up the first part, and later is deposited in bends. South European species, can be found at many places in Hungary.
