Stigmella hybnerella (Hübner) Bivoltine (VII. and IX.). Hosts are Crataegus, Sorbus, Cotoneaster, Amelanchier. The larva is colourless or light green. The early mine is a narrow serpentine with the dense black faeces deposited in the middle line. Later widens into a blotch mine, where the faeces get gradually scattered. Widespread in Europe, can be found in Hungary. |
