Stigmella lemniscella (Zeller)

Bivoltine (V-VI. és IX-X.), hosts are the Ulmus species. The larva is yellow. The mine in its first part accurately follows the leaf margin and the teeth, only later diverts from it. The faeces usually fills up the whole mine. European species, occurring at many places in Hungary.
