Stigmella tityrella Stt.
Lepidoptera: Nepticulidae

Bivoltine (VI-VII. and IX-XI.). Host is Fagus. The mine begins at the midrib and strongly serpentines usually between two lateral veins. The larva often mines even in the fallen leaves, which stay green around the mine. North and Central European species, common in Hungary.
